Tonicom PC166 I heard is good. 256meg chips are hard to find though.
what about OCZ pc150 2-2-2 with infineon chips..?? anyone using this ram??? how does it perform in cas2 and 3???? thanks
au
one more thing is that i already have few sticks of micron pc133 and i know how far they would go..the best was 144mhz @ 2-2-2.
so..i would like to do 150@222 or 160@333 and i know it cant be achieved using micron. what about infineon??? or kingmax pc150?? anyone using these rams? thanks..
OCZ PC 180 & PC166 - I 've bought 2xpc166 and 4xpc180 few months ago and they really rock - but I can't see them in OCZ store anymore... 166 cas2 is really nice :)

I'm running crucial pc 133 cas2 and I can run at 154 fsb at 2-2-2 no problems and up to 160 fsb at 3-3-3. No problems after that something craps out but I'm not sure if its the memory or not.
what about OCZ pc 150 2-2-2 with infineon chips?? anyone???

I am using Mushkin rev2, and rev3...and with the combination, I can run at at least 157fsb @ 2-2-2...the rev2 sez it's pc133 cas2, and the rev3 is 150 cas2..the cheaper rev2 will do over 150, and the pc150 will do about the same.
Also getting a few more mhz at the cost of cas2 is no gain at all, this has been proven by benchmarks with real world aplications...it takes about two to three hundred extra mhz to even notice any difference at cas3.
If you have any benchmarking software you can prove it to yourself...run a bench at cas2, then do the same at cas3 and you will see a very big difference.
I like Mushkin, when I had a bad stick, they sent out a new stick right away, and I have had no trouble with them.
Good luck in your desision
mm...i know how far micron chips will go. if i'm not mistaken, crucial is using micron chips. so i prefer other chips. mushkin is good but they are damn expensive, 128m Rev3 for 99 bucks!!
i really need some info about OCZ pc150 2-2-2. of cause their reviews say good things about them. just like the tennmax lasagna i bought yesterday, it made no difference when i replace it with the greenie on my AGP chipset. same temperature!!! so, i really wish someone who has OCZ pc150 2-2-2 and tell me how does it perform. thanks once again.

I have 3 sticks of OCZ Enhanced PC150 256mb.... it will do 154mhz 222 on my A7V133.
i just ordered OCZ pc133 2-2-2. hopefully it will run as you said. thanks.. :)
