ddr memory settings

I have an iwill ka266 mobo and cas 2 ddr2100 ram what do the settings in the bios really do when it comes to the ddr timeing, what would be the best settings I got the first one cas 2. Any other tips on this mobo would be helpfull to thanks:cool:
