You can take it apart, and just paint the top plastic piece, but not the keys. Just pull the 11 screws out of the bottom, then take the top half and paint it to match. I am doing this to my Logitech wireless keyboard. As an added bonus, you can still use your computer while the top is drying. ;)

If you want to have your keys painted as well, and know where all your keys are, or you could always take a pic of your keyboard before hand. At art supply stores you can get "letraset" decals. They are rub-on transfers of letters, numbers, and symbols. Just be sure to apply a couple of coats of clearcoat afterwards to prevent them from scraping off. Remember to take your keyboard apart before doing this, and remove the membrane layer to avoid getting paint on it. I'd also suggest buying a second keyboard, so you can use your computer while everything is drying. It's always good to have a backup anyways (my primay keyboard is a USB keyboard that doesn't get detected until I have all my drivers installed, hence why I have a backup PS2).

I think you can get what you want with regular paint by spraying it from far away (2-3 feet). That way, all you will get on the keys is a faint mist. It will leave a hint of a color, but still allow you to see the letters. HTH.

The Letraset option sounds cool. Imagine having a different font on your keyboard.........

That's it. My keyboard comes apart tonight.

Ahhhhggghhh!

You can try to dye it. Rit sticks to plastic pretty good

Great. Now I have visions of overclockers all over the world making a bit pot of cream of keyboard key with RIT sauce.:)

Can you post a pic of what your Logitech Cordless keyboard looks like, now? I have one, and painting it sounds like a cool idea...I'll probably go black/silver to match my case :p

I use automotive paint. It's more expensive, but looks cooler, lasts longer, and is a lot thinner.

The most I ever did was get a drill to make room for slightly bigger LEDs.

A friend of mine has the top of his keyboard removed and it looks really cool. He uses a 120 fan to blow away the dust :)
