Well, as seeing as I can't get "folding@home" to run on my machine, without getting kernel errors, I thought I'd try and contribute anyways, and join the SETI team. I was plesantly surprized to find that my old SETI account was still there! Joined in with 50 work units already complete! Hope I can help make a difference with our stats.

Are you running the screen saver? Looks like it from you times. If you want to increase your output run the CLC. Here are the direct downloads you need  Windows CLC (ftp://ftp.cdrom.com/pub/setiathome/setiathome-3.03.i386-winnt-cmdline.exe), Seti Spy (http://pages.tca.net/roelof/setispy/SetiSpy.exe), Seti Driver (http://www.wakeassoc.com/setidriver/SETIDriver.zip) and here are the instructions (http://overclockers.ws/seti/Instr1.htm) you need to follow to get them up and running

Tried installing it on 98SE, Millenium, and 2K. All of them a no go. Works fine for a couple of hours, but as soon as I come back from where ever I went (work, bar, working on car, etc...), I find the error message telling me the program has caused a KERNEL error in XXX part of win, and after that my registry is screwed. Oh well, I'll try it on the new system in 2 weeks, Might be some piece of my hardware configuration it doesn't like, could be something else I have installed, not too worried though, I'll figure it out when I get the chance and a spare Hdd.

A kernel error? That's is a worring error. You might have to reinstall the OS. But wait you have done that.

Have you done a low level format. This might help you. Also try other HD, maybe yours is corrupted or has some bad clusters.
