I just receiced my XP-M from newegg with this stepping:
IQZFA 0347XPMW
I haven't seen this stepping much in the forums...any opinions?

Yup, I have it. You're the only one I've seen. Seems its the only one Newegg has now. Im still messing with it. I got it to 2540mhz on air (Zalman 7000A-CU) with 1.84-9 voltage and 12x211. Though it was too hot. So now I'm at 2400mhz with 1.71v at 12x200. My memory is a limmiting factor though - still working with it. Im a newb - so maybe I'll get it to 2.5 again stable and cool soon.

Good luck

I got a 2600 mobile from newegg last week. It is the IQZFA stepping. I got it to 2.2 (200 x 11 @ 1.575 @ 40C) and Prime95 stable for 6 hours. My first overclock. I'll be testing to see how far it can go and post the results so we can get better stats on this stepping.

Finally..some CPU's with the same stepping...

First of all, r4fo, majestik, and tcat92,
WELCOME TO THE FORUMS!
Anyways, good luck with the overclock, let us know how it goes once you get the system set up.

Yes welcome and follow up on your progress with these. Information on new and different steppings is much appreceiated for those who are looking to buy. The availability of certain ones does not seem to last long and having timely data is a little hard to get. good luck!

Definitely is not much info on the IQZFA's. They may or may not do a little worse than the IQYFA's. Haven't seen enough of them to tell for sure though. "I" stepping though, so should do very well no matter what.

Im running mine at 2.4ghz with 1.66v core (MB overvolts some). 12x200 for now. I had some nice mushkin ram but it appears one of the chips is bad causing instability. Using old ram and works great but memory is unstable since im running it at a 5/6 ratio at 166 (PC2700 1 gig generic). Games just crash after some short play and Prime gives me a rounding error because of the mem (tested one good stick and very stable).
Anyways...still messing with it....and about to RMA my PC3500 to Newegg. Once I get some new chips I'll run it normally and crank it up to 2.5 (which I had it at for some time but memory was unstable still).

Blah...its a mess :) Great chip though - bad memory hehe.

Will post with results afterwards.

Other info in my sig.

Just got my IQZFA 0347XPMW in today, and right now I'm currently priming it at 2.3GHz at 1.55v. Seems very stable and very, very cooooool:)

Edit: 2.4GHz @ 1.625

yes, welcome to the forums, seems newegg is putting these out i may go and get one for myself,.

Ok, the best oc I got is this:

2.45 (204 x 12) 1.775 vcor 2.7 vdimm 9-4-4-3. I think the memory timing can be tightened. But I was able to run it P95 for 14 hours at priority 10. I don't think this stepping is the best. I think the only way to get to 2.6 gig is to up the vcore to 1.85 based on my cursory experiments.
