Ok,
what I'm looking for is a program that can
view the most video types as possible.

I hate having 4-5 programs for viewing mpgs, avi's, movs, divx's, vcds
etc.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a program that is would be close to what I'd want?

Or Do I have to download every codec available?

If so, anyone have a link to a place w/ a lot of codeks?

thanks

All you need is the proper CODEC to view anything & everything on WMP with the exemption of DVDs but then again when you have a DVD Player installed WMP will be able to do DVDs.

Try InterVideo WinDVD 4(R) I have no clue how much $ it is because it came with our Gateway(R) computer. Another is RealOne Player(R) except that you can olny play mp3 and .rm(RealMedia). If you want more you have to download a codec(ugh yes induvidually). Sorry if this was no help.

Media Player Classic is pretty good. Not bloated, plays lots of things.
