Hello everyone new board member here I love the forum I have been reading for 3 days.
I need a bit of answers or tips from those big brains out there.
I am posting for a shy buddy this is the issue.
He has an A7V8X-X it was purchased a few months ago new from the store not sure what revision it is.
He has a 1900+MP hand me down processor.
And 512 PC3200 of OEM ram I know it’s cheap.
He had it running at full throttle but his board died.
Now he has another board and is running it at 1200MHz at 200 FSB stable on a new A7V8X-X.
First is it possible to run this at its rated specs on a non MP Chipset?
As far as I know the only difference is the L5 Bridge is closed by default and the XP is open is this right?
Is there any MacGyver that he can do to make it work at full throttle?
