Wallpaper Issues

I searched for someone having this problem with no luck. When i try to put certain pictures, about 70k or bigger as the wallpaper and centering it, it simply does not show up. If I stretch or tile it, it works fine, but that looks like crap. Has anyone had this problem and/or know a solution other than looking at small crappy pictures?

do the color count in the picture match your desktop settings? only thing i can think of at the moment.

As a matter a fact I remember saving one as a 32bit picture. I do know that I can't get a bitmap to work either when I turn Active Desktop off.:mad:

I do notice that when I do Ctrl Alt Del and the diologe box comes up the wallpaper shows up as normal.
