its been very hot and humid here in MI for the last 5 weeks ive had 2 ac`s and two pcs on 24/7 elec bill was 118$ i also have a elec hot water heater highest bill ive had in very long time
Wait until you get one for $500. I have really cut back on my Seti operations.
It wouldn't be so bad if the prices were going down sometime soon, but I heard on the news this morning that the retards that run the state freaked out and signed long term contracts in June which lock in these prices for 2 years. Supposedly they didn't even get an option to change the price or cancel the contract.
And the going rate other states pay has already dropped to 20% of what we have to pay. Supposedly California bought too much power and lost $46 Million last month selling off the excess.
Lovely.

I can't remember the last time I had a power bill under $100 - and I mean even back before I was running Seti. My bill for July was $458.27. Most of that is going to the AC. It was about $200 in the winter.

I was shocked when I saw our current electric bill. Last year for the same billing period our bill was 250.00. This bill, and we used 400 kilowatts LESS in power, was 428.00. I live in the High Desert of Los Angeles County, and the temps here for the last couple of weeks have been 100 - 106. I dread seeing next months bill.
