Search his posts and you will see who he is... and likely learn a lot too! I read a lot of his posts, and he packs a lot of information per inch.

Hah. Don't say that. It seems so long if you are waiting for it...heh. I remember way back when. Anyways, the best thing to do is to use your energy to make positive contributions to the forums. Post anywhere you feel you can be of help to a fellow member. Be kind, friendly and above all be yourself. It will come when it comes. Just keep up the good work and even once you do make blues, never stop helping others. Becoming senior does not mean leaving your good habits behind, it means doing even more. Good luck on your senior quest.
:D
Matt
Congrats to Jot and Xaotic means now you boys are gonna have to do more helping, to prove your rights
HaHa only kidding ive read posts from both and most deserving.

If you make the right posts and are helpfull then it will only be a click away, however a few people IMHO should have gotten theirs sooner. One of them being capt slug.

Congrats Xaotic :) And Xaotic is also a great person to deal with in the classifieds :D
*Saunters in* I didn't notice this welcoming thread. Mine got jacked like CRAZY
The goal here as a member, is not to become a senior, not to gain access to the Classifieds, and not to have a lot of stars. It is to help others and learn some yourself. I have learned very very much while I have been here, and if you poke around my post history a little, you'll notice that I'm still asking questions and learning. When I joined, I noticed the seniors, and I thought "hey, nifty, maybe I'll be one one day *silence for a second* nah, I doubt it, I play around too much." Well lookie there, I'm still playing around (while helping), and I made it to Senior. Looks like fate doesn't like beating me with a hammer all of the time.
I neglected to do so in your welcoming thread, though I should have (I was too busy dancing around and shouting about my own blues), I now officially congratulate you on becoming a senior, Xaotic :)
Thanks all and I have to agree with JoT's post, especially, the hijack. It's all about the learning process. I try to learn something everyday. Sometimes it's rather painful when things don't come together the way you want them to. Step back, take a breath, recite the litany against fear, call cthulu, say a prayer, reset BIOS and try again. Remember the rules, be patient and you can learn alot trying to help others with their problems.
Enjoy the Blues Jot!
Congrats. Excellent work.

Xaotic - i cant for the life of me remeber ever seeing you before what forums do you post in? but congrats anyway:)
Edit: lol i just looked and looks like you post mostly in storage which is prolly why i dont see you (i dont venture out of cooling and folding much anymore)
JoT - way to go!!!! i sure remeber some of your useful contributions :D
U know ive said it before and il say it again. We should be able to nominate members to become a senior because so so many are missed. :(
but nm i dont want to jack your thread

You can, just PM a moderator and put forward your suggestion. :)

I sent in a few suggestions recently. I dont see them senioratized yet though.
As you may already know, the process of making more seniors is a very very long one, Xaotic and I are the newest seniors since Captain Slug, and he was inaugurated way back in the beginning of February. I don't expect more senior promotions until late summer at the earliest.
slater - Thank ya, I try to be helpful, but usually it just falls apart into "well, SOME part of what I said is useful" :D
Congrats Xaotic!
I really do appreciate all the SCSI support you have provided for the forums. Your SCSI knowledge exceeds that of anyone I have come across.
