Thermal Grease have to wait?

Do you have to wait a while after you connect the cpu and heatsink with thermal grease? I mean, does it have to harden before you turn the pc on?

Thermal grease doesn't harden (well, it eventually does, but not for a long long time), you can turn the computer on right away.

anybody know the specs for the retail AMD heatsink and fan?

the AMD retail fan is no way going to cool a chip even at stock speed i recommend getting a better heatsink and getting the chip OEM
