update on TV tuner problem

Well I went ahead and downloaded any new drivers/software that ATI was offering, fixed the video playback problem on files that were recorded with their video capture software, now there is a new problem. Sound does not match the picture :rolleyes: This is either in just watching TV, or if you record something. I can't figure it out. If would watch people's mouths on TV, the words are like, 1/2 second behind. Any ideas?

It sounds like you're dropping frames at the very start of the video capture. You can try manually adjusting the offset using a tool like VirtualDub.

thanks for the info. I have been tinkering around with the ATI software a bit, I can get the echo effect to go away, by pressing the mute button on the software :rolleyes: but it doesn't do any of these problems in video capture, just real time.
