i was dumb...i ordered from house of computers a generic video card before realizing it was generic (i was so excited about upgrading from my rage fury pro)......i havent goten it yet, and my dad didnt get a user name and password, so i cant login and cancel it, and if i cancel it once it ships i must pay 15%, plus shipping.....so...does anyone here know how it performs???...stupid me....stupid pricewath...stupid hoct.com...*smacks self in head repeatedly with large stick*
Dont worry, be happy! Just dont use any of the software that comes w/ it. Use the detonator 14.40 drivers and the Geforce tweak utility for it. If you used a voodoo card in your system , and are going to a geforce, then go to Guru3d.com >articles> Voodoo to geforce upgrade Guide, follow it closely to avoid any conflicts in your registry.
Can you say oops? Maybe you should look at thier site to see if there is a way around that crappy 15% restocking fee. Like if a product is defective. If it were me I would mark a few of the contacts with a black magic marker. That would be considered defective. Of course, there are much worse things you can do. But I don't recommend them. Like I said, look for a loop-hole. Maybe you can get around that 15% restocking fee.

id rather live with a a graphics card with a few fps less, but ill stand up to my mistake, after all, it was my fault.....and besides, theyd still make me pay shipping both ways......
