Getting rid of system restore files in XP

I've disabled the system restore feature and I want to reclaim disk space. How does one delete the system restore files?

Go to Drive Properties...Clean up...More Options...System Restore...cleanup...

I believe disabliing system restore removes all restore points. You chose "disable system restore on all drives" correct? I'm not sure if it deletes the restore points if you only disable it on certain drives.
