hey ppl:)
hmm ok here is the situation i am under the impression that tho most ppl here are advocates of large psu to power there overclocking its not nessacarily the cpu that is sucking up the most power the peripherials that are attached to it. is that correct? secondly, when i set my tb at 1400 the minute i put it under any stress it just restarts the machine is that psu related or is it some other part of my hardware that i am not aware of?

235 is kinda small...I'd say 300w for any system. The problem with power is that the peripherals are using power that the cpu needs. And about your computer restarting, maybe its just protecting itself from you:)

I believe it is your PSU. The Aopen 250watt PSU is the bare minimum AMD recommends for the CPU, go to the AMD site and check it out;
