Hi, you can use Sisoft Sandra looking under the CPU & BIOS information module or Cpu-z.

I hope it helps you ;-)

Don't want to contradict someone with more posts than me, (sorry Doors :) ), but I wouldn't trust Sandra for it. You can take the S-spec off the CPU (5 digit code) and reference it to Intel's charts.

For instance, I take mine (SL45Z) and plug it into the Search field. Back pops some results with at least one linking to the P3 S-spec table. Find your speed, S-spec, and then step code. I go to 733, then to SL45Z, then follow that across to the Step column.

Actually, to hell with the search. :D Here (http://support.intel.com/support/processors/sspec/p3p.htm) is the link to the P3 chart, and here (http://support.intel.com/support/processors/sspec/p2p.htm) is the link to the P2 chart.

Don't worry ;-)
I've checked my chip with Sandra and Cpu-z gotting the same right results about the stepping, but your way seems to be right too, so it's only a deepest wiev :-D
