It's a Geforce 2 MX (noname brand from a Dell computer).

If so, can someone point me in the right direction?

I just mounted a Blue Orb on my GF@ MX 400 and it dropped the temp 8c. Try this site for a how to, although they are putting it on a Northbridge, it is the same method for your video card.

you know what I did with my card, and this is classic redneck style, but I got a old hsf combo form a Pentium1 133, it was pretty thin so I only wasted one pci slot, but I took the hsf and put it on top of the old heatsink on the vidcard, got some string and tied it around really taut wrapping it through the slots in the part that goes in the board, you can see it on the bottom of the picture there, also I took 2 fans and tied them together with garbage ties, then put them right on the back of the card, they fit in between the back of the case and my stick of ram, so they stay in there nice and snug. after an intense 2 hours of 1nsane I examined the card and it was barely even warm, almost cold in fact.

not exactly the best solution but hey, it works great and it doesnt cost nothin if you have a couple fans layin around and some string.

I'd break out the glue!! I do the thermel paste thing, then put superglue in 2 opposite corners- voila!! It comes off with a twist too, if you need it to.

Then I stick plastic bolts thru the fan and squeeze it between pins on the heatsink. Solid!

Yeah - any small h/s will do. Alloy ones you can cut to fit. My Hercules GeForce II now has a fan off an old P166 PAckard Bell Heatsink. Cool!
