unlock mobile xp2500

just bought myself a mobile xp2500 week 6, just to discover that i couldnt raise the Multi above default 14.
any idea how to unlock it ?

it's unlocked if it is in fact a mobile. What kinda mobo you using?

Why do you even want to raise it? May be better to drop it.

i have a old Epox 8k5a2+ that only support 12.5 multi
so i use CPUMSR to change the multi above that, but it only allows me up 14.
i run it stable @ 13x200, above that i need to upper the vcore above 1,85 witch makes it hot...

the thing is that i want to use it on an MSI Dual KD7
and that board dosent support so high FSb so i need multis atleast to 18

and my sign refers to my dads old p133 i had to use for a long while when i was without a computer ^_^.

pinmod! Or modify the L6's to allow yourself a higher multiplier in CPUMSR. Note that the K7D doesn't yet run mobiles in dual-CPU mode: you need to break the mobile bridge before it works, and then you can adjust the multipliers through CPUMSR et al. Nor does the K7D do multipliers above 12.5, so you'll need to do a pinmod at some point.
