Its a very high quality pump. I don't run one myself but I have never seen any bad reports about them. A lot of people here have it.

I received mine about two weeks ago, and it stopped working about 30 seconds after I turned it on for the first time.

Kinda shuddered, and stopped pumping :p

It was a used early revision, and a replacement pump head is on the way. I've had, and the trader I bought the used pump from has had a great experience with Swiftech's customer support however.

I'm sure if you call them up they'll have your pump repaired, or replaced, in no time. www.swiftnets.com has detailed contact and RMA information you might find useful :).

I'll let you know what I think of this pump's performance when it's working ;)

Didn't Swiftech have some problems with the earlier pumps? I know they offered a replacement bearing for some defect. They sent out free ones to people with the effected pumps.

Well at crazypc.com they sell the revision 2 pumps. That is where I bought mine and it has been running without a hitch since startup. I am very pleased with it and runs very silently. There is still a hum but I do not have it directly mounted to my case yet or worked all the air bubbles out yet. IMHO it was a worthy investment.

I own a mcp600 and it is the first revision bought back at the begining of janurary. I have never had a problem with it. It is very quiet, pushes the water very fast and works great when paired with a rbx. You also have to remember that Bill A told us on the forums that the troubles with the earlier revisions only affected about 5 percent of the total pumps. Also if you have the first version you can call swiftech and if you are haveing problems with your pump you can get a replacement head to make it a revision 2.

Listen to jkb2198, he's totally right on this one... Talk to swiftech, they'll give the rev2, its a more powerful, quieter pump... :) enjoy!

I bought a MCP-600 about three months ago and it as been silent since the day I got it without a flaw. Its a great pump compared to my previous Hydor L30 which would not stop making a clicking noise. Highly recomended.

$600?? What did you buy? That seems like quite a lot. I think my total is going to be around $250 and I already think I spent too much.

I have the rev-2 Pump and it is quiet as a church mouse. I cool Dual CPU and have about 8ft of 1/2 tubing and my resivore is a constant whirlpool. I think it is an awsom product..

I bought a MCP600 approx. three months ago and it was very loud. So loud I thought it was broken. Sent it back and it got "Damaged" in tranist and I never got another one.

You gotta post some pics when you are done. I just order some of Germany's finest H20 gear. Going with the Alphacool CPU and GPU blocks. I'm even going to a smaller size (6/8mm) diameter tubing. I'm curious to see what kind of temps I get vs. my current set up.:)
