powersupply

i just tried plugging a new 130cfm ys tech 120mm fan
into my 1.4tbird on a kk266 and i got nothing, no fans
turning on, no post, nothing. so i figure that i'm hitting
a wall with my power supply, its and aopen 300w job
that came with my hx08 tower. so i'm wondering what
the reccomended powersupplies are these days. i've
been looking at the antec 400w and the enermax
435w but i'm unsure of where to aquire them, any
help in this matter would be appreciated

I have the AMD approved Antec 400w PSU. I got it with my case at http://www.directron.com . They may have the other PSU too. THey have a decent selection.

Hmm, did you plug that into a motheboard header? The 120 mm YS-Tech fans draw 6-7W, way to much for the onboard fan headers to handle - esp. with other fans plugged in...
