What is the temperature difference I could expect to see between a Iwaki WMD-20RLTZ and a Via Aqua 1300?

Congrats on the pump. I won an auction for one once, but the seller never coughed it up and his account became suspended...

Anyway, it would do well in that setup, but any other pump would do well there too. You'd really get the most out of it if you put a couple more restrictive blocks in the loop, and run a few more HC's in series :D . Overkill, of course, but the pump could probably handle it.

Regardless, should be a damned fine pump.

I am, but I couldn't pass it up for $52 new.

I know it will work fine, but I feel like it's overkill. The only real benefit it has over the Via Aqua 1300 is reliability. Don't the Iwakis get really hot, and use like 100w of energy?

only the rzt series are 100 volt not (watts) and are for like malisia the rltz is the 115 hrz seris for the states I hope this clears up a few things for you greenman100 and the wmd series (walchem american made motors)do put out more heat but not a heck of alot more

I wasn't. I was just trying to have people help me decide if I should sell it or install it. I've had access to the classifieds for months now, and have used them several times. I know hte rules well, and if you feel I have violated them, I'd be glad to change my post. I don't even have the pump yet, I can't sell it.
