UT04 Question

How do I duck/stand on one knee and shoot, and how do I get the sniper rifle to zoom in after I have pressed the left mouse bitton to get the cross hairs?

to zoom in with the sniper rifle/lightning gun, you just hold down the alt-fire key (default is right-click)

Not sure what you're talking about the standing on one knee, if you mean crouch, the default key is "c"

by the one-knee thing, do you prone like in COD? cause you cant do that in ut, its only got crouch like almost every other fps, by default thats "c".

I believe that if you go into a 3rd person view of yourself while zoomed in with a sniper rifle, lightning cannon, or zoom shock rifle, you'll see that you're aready be in the "one knee" position. At least, that's what I assume since that's what it looks like when any other person I see zooms in and dosen't move :)

erm... either left shift or left ctrl crouches (i mix it up between this and far cry :P)

CTRL is the crouch, and I believe(at least with the lightning gun) that you can still crouch.) and yes right click will give you the zoom.

But what I really want to say here is read the manual. There is quite a bit of stuff I learned from reading the manual, just little tiny things you never even would have guessed about. It's cool, and worth it if you are a serious player.

the one leg this is like asking how do I do a sideway jump with a loop. cause thats what the character do when you see them jump sideways. but when you jump sideways in 1st person view it looks like ur just jumping sideways (without being upside down halfway in the jump)

crouch can also be shift so try that, and to zoom just alternate fire

There are, look for a little skull on the left of the name. I play constantly on an instagib server, but now people have started increasing the firing rate, which sucks, since it doesn't require skill to fire tons of beams towards a target.

The instagibs are hard to find, so I made a filter to show only zoom instagib (and low grav :D) ones.

Though there definatly need to be more LG-ZIG servers out three. When I turn on the filter, I only get like 10 servers, all but one empty. Even plain old ZIG servers come up with something like 20.

I play on an SGL hosting server, I will rant until they lower the firing rates, its just nuts.
