Im not sure what cpu i should buy.
My mom is prob ganna buy my brother a new cpu today or tomarow, i have the choice to go a local computer store and just buy a boxed 2400 Tbred, or i can order a 2500m online and give my brother my 2500 desktop.
Tho im not 100% sure if my brother A7V333 will work with my 2500. If it doesnt and i get the 2400+, are they unlocked or are all Tbred and barton locked after week 40.
Cuss if it isnt locked then im ganna pop it in my computer to see if i can get anything higher then my current cpu.
What would uguys do.
#1) Order 2500+m and give my brother my 2500 desktop, but if i do that im ganna have to sacrifice 1 stick of 256mb cuss he only has 133fsb ram, which means ill go down to 768mb.
#2) Just order a 2400+ for him and stick in an leave it alone
