problems overclocking

i have a p4 1.4ghz pentium 400 fsb (100x14)
my motherboard is a via p4266
and i have 3x256 sdram pc 133

ok the problem is when i raise the frontsidebus and have my procesor at 1440 mhz and 1500 i loose perfomance and if i increse more y loose more perfomance
my temps are about 45c dagrees

why ????????

Lose performance? Hmm, where are you seeing this? Have you run a few benchmarks, also, as I know nothing of this chipsett, perhaps someone else in here will be able to help you more.
