I have an office with 3 computers networked with a Linksys Router.
One computer (#1) has files that computers #2 and #3 need to "see".
Computer #2 see's #1's files at all times, even after rebooting.
Computer #3 can see #1, but once I reboot, I can no longer see #1.
After the restart, Computer #3 can ping #1, but cannot access its files. If I map a network drive to #1 from #3, it will no longer be present after a restart.
During all of this time, both computers #1 and #2 can see #3's shares.
I have found that after a restart, If I bridge #3's LAN and 1394 connections, that everything will work again. If i restart after this it will no longer work.. UNLESS I UN-bridge the connections. Sounds like this bridge does nothing but "rebuild" some setting.
Does anyone know what could cause the computer network settings to revert after every restart?
