How come when i set my Duron 800 to run at 856 (107*8) it boots into windows fine but when i boost it up to 880 (110*8) it half loads into windows and i get a blue screen that just says "Windows protection error" What does that mean???????

it means that you overclocked it too high, and windoze doesn't like it.

Are you using a Kt133 board? If so, 110MHz may be too high for the board to take, or it could even be another component like RAM or an NIC stopping you. Could also be heat, need for more voltage etc... all the usual suspects. I'm sure you can get more out of that cpu.

What kind of board is it? If it has multiplier adjustments you will be able to go much higher.

What mobo is it - like Bender said, you'll probably need to change the multiplier, I expect the chipset just can't handle fsb speeds much above 100MHz.
