alright, so... taking keys from photos Ive seen, I feel Ive pretty well hidden all the wires, infact its pretty clean and the only stuff I havent hidden I have plans on how to hide.
EXCEPT, the mobo power connector.
the wire bundle is so thick it doesnt really bend anywhere. and its rather noticable. its also way too long and thus sticks out even worse.
now... my thoughts, thought probably bad thoughts. if I open the PSU(already done it once for painting). and unsolder the wires, resolder them shorter, and adjust them at the base to angle sideways off the connector instead of straight out.
pros, it would be perfect I think.
cons. uhhhh, did you read what I had to do? Im very good with a soldering iron, but thats extreme.
what do you guys do with it? besides just sleeving it... any ways to hide it?
I have a xaser 3 if that makes a difference.
instead of unsoldering at the powersupply, you could snip the wires somewhere in the middle, or do the trimming at the pin end. that would make it a lot safer and easier i think. if the cable bothers you that much, go for it

I agree, you can get molex pin removers that make the job alot easier, remove all the pins, cut the wires back to the required length resolder the connector pins to the wire reconnect to the molex.
If you follow the link in my sig you will see how i did it to mine,it's on page three, although I didn't do the Motherboard power cable.....it's on the "To Do" list though.
I was thinking tonight that I wanted to do the same thing.
What I'd come up with so far, is to cut 2 pieces of 12 gage copper wire and tape it to the wire bundle on opposite sides of each other. Then place a piece of shrink wrap over the whole thing (requires removing pins from connector...make a diagram first!!!) then shrink it with a hairdryer.
Then it would be neat, and bendable the way you want it, and would stay put.
Make sure to file/sand any burrs on the tips of the 12 gage wire, so that it doesn't gouge any wire insulation.
Just my random thinking....

well I kinda bent it around so it goes out of sight, but still out in the open, but its still bulky. maybe I will try going at it from the other end. the wire ideas pretty good too for shaping it, I need to unplug it from the mobo and go at it. fraid Im stressing the board bending it not even realizing how much force Im putting on it.
biggest PITA is I went at it backwords. I have all the fan wires and everything organized and taped behind; dont want to undo all that, so not removing the PSU is a plus.
even if I just cut each line and removed a section then soldered are shrink wrapped them, thatd be ok, but might cause problems in the long run.

Trust me....strip it down. Do a proper job remove everything and start again.
The last think you want to happen is a solder blob to drip off on to your MoBo. And also removing your Power supply completely will give you the freedom to do a good job,
You could even go as far as me and make it a modular PSU.
