Hydor L20 noise vs. L30 noise??

Anyone who has used both pumps could tell me if there's much difference in noise between both pumps?

How loud r both of them?

I didnt see any diff. They're both very quite too me. I couldnt hear them running actually, only if i turn off EVRYTHING in my room then i might hear a humming noise.

I have the L30 and I am planning on suspending it in my case. It will be virtually impossible to hear it then. It does make a slight hum. Make sure to use a dampening pad to help kill the vibrations in your metal case if that is where you will mount it.

its quiet, its quieter then my fans. It's impossible to hear. It will not make a difference. And yes, I run a Hydor L30

I haven't used the L20 but my L30 is almost dead silent once all the bubbles are out of the system. I can't hear it over my 120mm fan running at 7V. And I didn't even bother to suspend it or anything, its sitting on a folded up mousepad but it still touches the side of my case. Come to think of it, I'm suprised it doesn't make a horrible rattle :p
