View Full Version : sharing Internet connection w/ ISDN Router/hub

I need a quick "how-to" if any one cares to respond:

I have 2 PC's, both with (1 each) 10/100 ethernet NICs.

First PC has ISDN connection through an Acsend/Lucent Pipeline 85 Router w/built in hub.

Second PC has no internet connection but is connected to the hub.

Network works great, can share files etc...

now for the question:

I want to share my ISDN connection between the two PC's.
What do I need? Software like Sygate, etc?
Can my router/hub handle the sharing without additional software?
Do I need multiple NIC's in one or both PC's?
Any other advice greatly appreciated...thanks.

I believe you can...check out this link to a guide from the main page. If I understand correctly, as long as you can hook the ISDN connection to your router, you can run your home network behind the router and hook both computers up to the internet with minimal hassle.
