Does anyone have one of these? they seem really cool but im wondering how the "T@2" actually comes out...

That seems very interesting. No i haven't seen or used it but I would like to.

Read about this a WHILE ago, over a year. It sucks basically, nice idae but:
A.) You can only do T@2 where there is blank data on the cd, so say goodbye to filling the cds with music, an inch or so(quite a bit of data) will be reserved for the text which...
B.) Is only really visible on certain VERY dark blue discs.
C.) Has a very tough time showing up in certain reflections.

I have that drive, and everything above is right. It can be neat and fun and all that stuff, but don't spend extra money for it because you won't use it. You can see it on non-blue discs, but it doesn't stand out.

Hewlett Packards lightscribe (http://www.lightscribe.com/) looks to be better. It creates the label on the reverse of disk.

yea i know but this is a new model... the drive you read about is out of production i think

Yeah it needs a special disk. Supposed to be available in summer 04.
