New laptop with 2500+ xp-m

Hello everyone...I haven't posted in a while..well I got a new laptop for school, and it came with the 2500+ xp-m cpu. Without taking my laptop apart, is there anyway I could tell if its barton? I was thinking I could upgrade the cpu on the laptop, and stick the 2500+ xp-m into my desktop...any suggestions?

yea, download 'Crystal CPU ID' from somewhere, it lists your cpu specs including the core name. Plus i think all 2500+ M's are bartons...
