unknown CPU

hey how can i get my XP 2400+M to be a known cpu by the mobo and winXP?
i think they take out some code on cpu's windows doesnt know as my 3dmark scores are a few hundred points lower even to people with cpus at over 100Mhz lower
any ideas?

You can't unless BIOS is modified. Anyway, it is not that much necessary.

It doesn't affect performance at all... Its just a name-string...
