look for the L1 bridges on the cpu. they all need to be connected. just use a pencil on the ones that aren't closed(if any). aftwards, it should look like this: ||||

This is actualy pretty easy, now follow me closely,

1- Go to the top left corner of your monitor screen, got that? Good, now click on the "back" arrow, O-K?

2- Now repeat step 1, Are you at the front page of this site? Good.

3- Scroll down the left side of the page until you see "Beginers guide", Got that? Good

4- Now click on "beginers guide" Did that bring up another page with all kinds of interstanding topics, That's the page. Good

5- Scroll down to the topic titled "Unlocking the L1 bridges"

6- Click on that topic and read what it says. Any questions?

When you're done with that item spend a bit more time on that page exploring some of the other topics.

Seriously,
you are about to modify a very sophisticated and expensive piece of electronic equipment. You are going to be running the componants in your system beyond what they were intended to be run at. It would be to your benefit to do as much research and gather as much information on the subject as possible before you end up with a pile of smoking parts on your desk.

Don't take the above joke personally, I intended it as a bit of fun. With as many times as that question has been asked, it may be good idea to make it required reading before joining the forum.

Good Luck!

for overclock a duron or athlon, you should link the L1 briges with a pencil, but you can do it with a conductive ink pencil, and you can choose the value from the multiplier by the bios
