After many months and many failures i finally got my computer water cooled. Tell me what you think:

Is that a good stepping by chance?

Quite nice.

I like the pump/reservoir.

Now for the details. My components include a dtek spir@l block. Dtek pro-core. Eheim compact 1000 pump. 120 Evercool fan.

Comp is composed of:
uber 1007 bios
athlon 2400 XP
a7n8x deluxe 1.04
1 gig corsair 3200 ram
gf4 4600

Currently i have my 2400XP running at 166*14=2324, stable at 33 degrees. This is with the fan slowed down to 70 percent using Speed fan.

Im having problems overclocking it anymore which is troubling to me. I used to be able to run my 2400 at 200*10.5 with air cooling and 2100 ram. But now with 3200 ram I cant run my comp at 200 fsb for I get a BSOD. I would like to run in at 166*15 or 200*12.5, but i cant seem to hit 166*15 even with the voltage at 1.8. Any ideas?

Last thing.... my res is leaking slightly where the cable is leaving the res. Is there any way to waterproof the opening without making it permanent?

Oh and how can I make a good fill/bleed opening in the res. If you notice I am using a washer to hold the 1/2inch Barb to the res. Well that washer thickness is not allowing me to get all the air out of of the res. And my pump is therefore sucking in that little bit of air unless I tilt the res.

Im also having vibration problems, which is quite loud at times. What could I use to dampen the res from vibrating?

Velcro, rubber standoffs, felt pads.....

how would that work? felt pads attached to the case and res, with rubber attached to the felt pads, and velcro attached to the rubber pads?

Like this?

______ Res bottom
--------- felt pads
===== rubber pads
""""""" velcro
""""""" velcro
===== rubber pads
--------- felt pads
______ bottom of the case

I was just tossing out ideas for you to try. Any one of them alone should help.

nice setup...btw, is your fan pulling air to the inside or blowing out?

One thing - where are your hose clamps?

the fan is blowing in, which is making the case pretty hot unfortuneately. My psu fan has a hard time getting rid of the air. I think I'll add a 120 opening at the top. the res and cpu fittings are 1/2inch with 3/8" tubing over them....so I'm not too worried about it, but I'll get some.

Quick question, is it bad to leave your comp on 24/7 folding or what not. And if I do turn the comp off is it cool to just leave the pump running. I know the rad will passively cool the water but is it enough?

"Finally up and running...." I can't wait until I can say those words. Maybe in 3 weeks or so, got a 10 day vacation this week. :)

Looks good, nice simple tubing and clean look. I'd be nervous with the cord coming out of the res liek that springing a leak, but that is just me. :D

thats one of my main concerns. I could easily make it waterproof, but then it would be permanent. which is not good at all.

Hey man it looks good...I think one trip to a hardware store could solve some of your probs...You can get like adhesive pads (rubber/felt/etc; as suggested by the other fellow). You could get some thicker pads for the front and thinner for the rear to keep the res tilted to keep the air out of the flow...

Then you could also pick up some hose clamps...

I like your setup, it looks good.
