P4 OC'ed

Did anyone has successfully OCed their P4 1.7gig with an ORB
If yes plz tell me how i have a P4 1.7gig and whant to OC it to a 2gig:confused:
Or can give me a URL on some one who did it successfully
So i can read up on it but i would also like any Info on how to OC the P4 thx allot

You shouldn't really say "I want to OC it to xxx". That way you won't be disappointed if you don't reach your goal... :)

Anyway, you will need better cooling than an Orb to reach the 2gig mark stable. Cooling is the key!

I've been able to overclock my P4 1.7 GHZ to 1869 with stock heatsink and fan and 1.75 v. I can run windows 98 without any problems and it runs approx. 115 degrees F. idle. The only problem i have is trying to run 3d apps to which alls it does and begin the software then just shuts it down and returns to desktop.

What can i use to COol down my PC i cant get a Whater System but i can get allmost any Air System to cool it and Orb is not a Dragon is a Golden Orb For P4

just need some names of Good "AIR" Colling Systems
ween i get a JOB :P~ then i could get a Whater colling System like "Blizzard" and soo on but now all i can get is a Whater system and i will not Take Off My ORB :P~ i like the gold in my tower and loking for a HD colling Kit and Mem Colling send me a MSG if you kno any goods one PLz tell me how much in CAN Founds :P~ and it would help a URL Cya All And thx for the help

60gig Maxtor 7200 RMP
20gig IBM 5600 RMP
2x 128rim PC 800
Golden Orb ( for P4 )
Ahh And a P4T Sock 423 Moterboard
2 Air Fans 6000rmps
And the Bios Is Sweet For OC'ing

ok i just got MB5 and i set it up
i have 3 sensors

1st one is Main Fan Runs at 6000rmp temp is 50oC
2ed is CPU fan 3000rpm temp 30oC
3rd fan is VideoCard runs at -1oC
i got a 4th Fan but its not on the Sensor? not sure why but its a 6000rmp one like my main fan :)

just whanted to Updait you all ooh ya and i OC'ed it from 1700mhz to a 1784MHz not too bad for my 1st OC :cool:
well ween i get more colling i will need more of you GREAT help :p
