What is the best way to apply thermal paste?... anybody have any good tips?

Would using a toothbrush to apply the paste give you the right consistency?.... *just a thought*

I use an old credit card to spread the paste out in a nice thin, even layer on the core. Seems to work fine, just make sure to use an old card or something similar, I dunno whether you could damage the magnetic strip with the paste (don't see how you could, but better safe than sorry).

Ive always had good luck with a toothpick. Use the point to pick up the globs in just the right amount and then angle it however you need to spread it.

I also used the toothpick it's the best solution
cause it's small and easy to spread
and no mess

A glob of AS2 on the core and toothpick all the way :)
