currently I just have an athlon 1700xp it is in a koolance water coled case running at 2000xp.

it is a pretty old case, about 3 years old. It was my brothers before he sold it to me. I'm looking at getting a new rig at the end of summer and want water cooling. I'm looking at the koolance cases because they come with everything I need and seem to be of a good setup in nature.

how well do they perform compared to other water cooling setups? Are there better companies that bundle everything together like they do?

thanks for helping me out everyone. This is my first time to this board :)

in general, you can get better performance by putting choosing the components yourself. the kits are typically viewed as sub par. the 3 best manufactures currently (IMO) are
www.dtekcustoms.com(the whitewater block is the best commercial block)
www.dangerden.com(the rbx is just below the whitewater block for performance)
www.swiftnets.com(overall quality, but kits can be expensive)

dangerden and dtek both offer kits that can be put together for around $200 and you can put together a custom setup for a little less.

Koolance systems are good for H2O in a box essentially if you don't want to muck around too much but still want the benefits of water cooling. If you want to put together your own system inexperience isn't too much of a problem as long as you do your homework first and read a lot.

I have a lian li 65 case great nice big case but doesn't seem to be designed in the same aspect as this koolance case I have.

What type of case would/should I be looking at to put this together?

the koolance case has fans on top, a radiator under the fans a great setup it appears to me. How does one have a superior one in a case that does not have the setup like this?

sorry for the stupid question I am new to water cooling and have always oc'd using HSF's before

Should be able to be done in the Lian Li, You might want to look in the stickies. There is a thread in there where people post thier WC pics. This would give you an idea of diffrent ways you can set up the WC.

TDX over the RBX
RBX can be a pain to get mounted correctly. TDX solves that.
