I might be saying goodbye to dial up in the near future

In my area the only really affordable broadband provider is Qwest. They offer DSL for 26.99 a month or something. Does anyone else have this plan or use Qwest? Should I go for it? Also I could not find this info on their site, but if you have the internet service you probably know, do they have one of those things where if you sign up you have to do it for a whole year or one of those?

most isp are on the pay by month i would go for it
why should it matter what there name is they bring a non dial up service for that price i pay 32.00 a month for high speen cable
then once u get it make shure ur there when the guy sets it up ask lots qestions and get # u can call for help

monater it speed test it and tweak test it go get Dr.TCP tune it all up adn if theres somthing u dont like call them get on there case about w/e u dont like they fix it if they can

so go get it and fast!! (dial up man i used to have that)

Get out of dial-up ASAP! I've heard of Qwest. They seem to be reputable.

Well, my 28.8 is free. And the problem is, I have heard alot of bad things about qwest, and if I get stuck with paying 27 bucks a month for a year for something that is really crappy and only works half the time, that would really suck.

i still say give it a try ive dealt with about 4 isp's (frend isp's ect

all you have to do is call them up and they deal with it

you cant just get it then when it goes down not say any thing i would try it man nothing to lose

Do not go for Qwest if you can possibly avoid it. They provide horrible service because anytime you get Broadband with them it is MSN. It is not better with the butterfly :D . They have 2 tiers for DSL. There is the cheap one which is 256up 256down, this is really slow. The more expensive one is 640down256up, which is alright but not really that great. If you dont want cable because of the price, then go for anything besides Qwest.

i still say get it and if its worse than there advertived speed you just rag themm hard then they usally fix it
