Swiftech quick connect and Clearflex

Will it work or should I get 1/2" barbs adapters?

you need 1/2" OD clearflex and the inserts to keep it hard(go inside tubes)

I find the clear-flex works better for the quick connects than tygon. The tygon is soft and its hard to push the tubes into the inserts all the way since it fold over on its self. The clearflex remains nice and stiff and lets you really cram that tube into the fittings.

The only downside is how nice tygon is to route around your case.

if tygon is so soft then why doesnt it crimp. If its compressing on itself I would most certainly think it would crimp.

The place I purchased it from told me I needed the barb adapters. I ordered them, in the worse case I'll have both possibilities to test.

I was under the impression that you needed soft tubing for the quick connects, at least that's what swiftech site says.
