Hey guys,

Has anyone had any luck with lower voltages on cCo Celerons??

I've got an 800@1066 (1.5v)
and a 600@1008 (1.5v)

Whats the go??....did i just get really lucky??
I've herd of this happening with athalons but not celerons...anyone?

Both are cCo stepping...

(ps the 800 posts @ 1225, 1.9v)

yeah also the stupid c600 wont even post at 1200 (even at 2v???) does anyone have any idear why its so stubborn??, alos i dont have an fsb between 112-133...

thanks guys

(p.s i know the defult voltage is 1.7v for the cCo's)

If it's a cC0, the start volts for these used to be 1.7, so your running at less than s td volts.

Hmm, yea, I heard about the Athies, not too sure about the cellies.

Unfortunately my mobo's lowest voltage is 1.8V, so it means I have no way of testing this. Although if it works for one type of chip, it might be similar for another.

The 600 has probly hit it's max!

My 566 wont do over 1003, even with decent cooling. it wont post if done in the BIOS, and just freezes the comp if upped in SoftFSB.

If your mobo aint got speeds between 112 and 133, then you're probly stuck where you are, as it's a bit much to ask a CPU to jump from an FSB of 112 to 133, esp. w/ a 9x multiplier.

Wow that is really something, I have to see how low mine can go now. Normally, my 566 does 961 at 1.89 volt, but it doesn't need a voltage bump until 892mhz.

I just wish it went to a gig like you guys!!

Looks like you got lucky or you chose your components well. I can't get my Cel 800 past 922 without bumping the voltage to 1.85. 1.70V is the lowest my mobo will go.
