Hi all first of all I would like to say thanks for anything who replies I love you all
Ok heres my problem I have a AMD athlon 1600+ Soyo Dragon Planuim K7333 mobo Gforce FX 5200 128DDR running with XP Pro. I have 3 HDD a 15 gig maxtor a 40 gig Maxtor and a 40 gig WD (The WD is runing on the mobos RAID which I must say I have no real Idea on how to work =/)
Heres my problem a few months ago I updated my Nvidia drivers after that my system would not boot past the windows XP blue bar loading screen it simply went black and that was that. So I thought it might be a graphics problem So I went out and picked up the Gforce FX reformated all the drives reinstalled XP and off I went all has been perfect for the last 2 months this morning I turned on my PC and low and behold it wont load past the windows blue bar loading screen again I rest a good few times and still the same thing then bang it comes up with missing ntldr so I do a repair and replace the file it starts up again and gets to the same point and, yep you guessed it black screen! Im really running out of idea's in truth Now I trusted the RAM out on another Pc it worked fine I also tested the athlon on about PC it worked fine too the mobo is not even a year old yet and I take real good care of my Pc when it comes to keeping it cool and handing it right. I really dont want to reformt again two months later if this is gonna be something that is just gonna keep on popping up.
So i throw myself at you guys! Help me please! I will love you forever!

*hugs and kisses*

This usually happens due to built-in XP video drivers being crappy. Did you try booting Safe Mode? (press F8 during boot-up - EARLY, don't miss it! Before XP logo appears)

Yep I have been to safe mode works fine there I removed the Nvidia drivers and had just he MS ones runing same problem, I then went back in to safe mode and loaded up the Nvidia drivers form the CD that I got with the graphics card same problem again.
Im really at the end here I dont know what else to do

Could your monitor be failing? When you boot into Safe Mode, or VGA Mode, the resolution is much lower. Try booting into VGA mode, and set the color and resolution very low. Or try another monitor if you have one.

Rara, are you talking about your display drivers (video)? If so, did you uninstall your old drivers before installing the new ones? Because if you don't uninstall the old drivers first, that can & often does create problems. Try uninstalling the old ones and then installing the new ones. Hope this helps. Good luck.
