I got a few parts to this post.

I have an Asus P3v4x MB with a PIII 700e oced to 1120mhz from my Alpha p3125s and 86w peltier. Right now I have the 60mm Sunons which are rated at 0.15 A - 1.8W - 34.5dBA - 4500RPM - 23.5CFM.

I would like to run the 60mm black label Delta's on that. Here is what the Delta is rated 0.48A - 5.76W - 47dBA - 6800RPM - 38CFM.

I need to know if motherboard fan headers can put out the power the delta wants.
(Yes, I know I can run these directly off the power supply, but I don't really want to.)
If you run them off the power supply are you able to see how many rpm the fan is spinning?

Have any of you guys tested to see how much power is coming from the fan headers?

I also have an Inno3d GeForce 2 MX 400 64mb w/tv video card.
I wanna get a blorb for that, and put some kind of heatsink on the memory chips.

I have measured them, and they are about 1CM wide and about 2.3CM long I'll need 8 of those for the video card, and would like 2 or 3 more, 1 for clock generator, and rest for my southbridge chip.

I was wondering if anyone knows where I can pick some small heatsinks up online?

My other question is about getting new LED's for my case.
Has anyone check to see how many Watts, Amps are off the LED headers on the motherboard? I am thinking of getting 1 white and 1 blue.

Well, hopefully someone can get me help on these subjects.
thanks

i can only help you with the delta question: DON'T RUN IT OFF THE MOBO'S HEADERS

i can only help you with the delta question: DON'T RUN IT OFF THE MOBO'S HEADERS it will burn them, they can't handle that wattage.

Mark,

I used a three pin (mobo conector) to four pin (HD power) adapter for my delta 30. You can take the signal wire (yellow on mine) and 'unplug it from the 3 pin plug and then plug it into the 3 pin plug from you YS tech fan. You have to remove the wires from the YS tech fan 3 pin plug first. This way you get an rpm signal and save your mobo by using a higher wattage rated power source. You can use a small screw driver of similar pointed object to push in the retaining part of the metal connectors that are in the 3 pin plug. Once removed make sure the retaining part sticks out a little so it will catch when you put them back in. Oh yeah, here's a tip that will save some aggrevation, write down/draw the wire placement so you can install them correctly.

If you get stuck email me and I'll take and send you a pick of my setup. Good luck!

Mark,

This place has lots af good heat sinks fans LED's and other stuff:

I've installed some LED's in my box I had to put a resistor on the positive voltage line to reduce the current and not fry the LED's. You can use the old electronic equation Voltage (V) = Current (I) * Resistance (R) or V=IR. LED's will have a current rating so if you need to know if you are using the 5 or 12 Volt line off your power supply. For example I had a 2o mA rated LED on a 12 Volt line so R = 12 Volts / 20 mA (.02 A) = 600 Ohms. So I used a 594 Ohm resistor, may not last forever but it worked.

I've had my delta 38cfm on my KT7-Raid header for about 3 months now without a hitch.
