I got a 1.4GHz TBird code:
AYHJA 0127XPW
It's gonna be running on Epox 8KHA mobo w/ 512mb Crucial PC2100 Cas2 RAM cooled by Swiftech MC462A.

welcome to the overclockers.com forums! hope you enjoy it.
it's a good stepping so with good cooling it could reach 1.6 or even more.

i don't have much expirience with t-birds at 1.4, but my 1.33 won't go higher that 1.4 without crashing...
if you are using sntandard cooling solutions i don't think you can go very high... maybe 1.5GHz... but if you try something different like water cooling i would say that i can go up to 1.6, or 1.7 tops

First of all, the Mc-462a is probably the best heatsink out there. That is a great stepping for the 1.4, you should be able to hit about 1.65-1.7 i think.
I have seen someone hit 1800+ without switching to water.

I am running that chip on an ABIT KT7A-R - first machine in sig. I am also cooling it with a Swiftech MC462A, and right now it is at 1.622 (141x11.5) - only because I live in the High Desert. I have had the chip up to 141x12 = 1.692 and running Seti@home 24/7 it was solid as a rock. When summer is past then I will crank it back up again.

Make sure you have a good PSU for that rig. On my Epox mobo I have an Enermax 350w and I will probably have to up that to a 400 or 450w. Getting low readings on the 5v rail when I overclock. Right now, my Palomino 1.2 is clocked at 162x9 = 1.458 and my 5v rail is at 4.76v.

I got enermax 350W that I took from my P4 system when I sold it.

It should be alright - but if you have any problems - watch the 5v rail. The more you overclock, the more power that you draw from it.
