View Full Version : Can anyone tell...
Can anyone give me any information on this CPU?
A1000AMT3C
AXIA 0114GPEW
94952150226
I know there are articles on these, but the ones that I have read are somewhat confusing. I am wanting to hit atleast 1.1ghz with it on an ASUS A7V133 266fsb. Is this something that is possible?
Thanks

Not a problem.
If your "stuck" trying to get to 1.1 list all the parts in your pc and how you have tried to overclock.
ok, here is what I have:
1 ghz 266fsb CPU with the above codes
Asus A7V133 mobo w/ Via Apollo KT133A Chip set
512 mb PC133 SDRAM set to cas2
ATI Rage 128 Expert AGP video Card
Philips Acousics Edge Sound Card
AOpen 56k modem
Western Digital 30gig HD
Starting out I had the multiplier @ 7.5 w/ 133fsb which gave me 1ghz 266mhz bus. 1.75v
I connected L1 Bridges, then started upping the the bus speed. I got up to 140mhz with no issues. I went to 145, blue screen from hell on shut down. I backed off to 143 seemed ok, went to 144 didn't see much change. Raised voltage to 1.8 and nothing, no post, no nothing. So, I tried raising the multiplier, it booted back into the bios with default settings on the bus speed @ 100mhz. That is where I am, any suggestions would be great. Thanks for replying. oh yeah I connected L1 with a #2 pencil.
my 1 gig axia seems not to run faster than 8.5x150=1275
but the other way around it runs faster 13x110=1430
Give it at try at 100 bus and see how high you can get the multi to go. You'll have to play around to get the best over all speed.
bench mark at each setting with sandra and write everything down. I don't know about your chip. but mine wouldn't over clock the multi much at 133 fsb. but at 100 fsb i could do 13x no problem.
Strangely.
If you want a higher than fsb then set multiplier to 8 and set the fsb at 133 then if thats ok try 140 and that would be your 1.1ghz.
I have tried that but it wont post at any other multi. I am going to double check the L1 to make sure they are connected. Thanks again
your vid card is prbly holding u back, try a geforce series, and remember higher fsb= higher preformance
