Seems like we are outfolding DSL reports now, next target is TER! :) Our color changed in the statsman graphs, so we are now the third most producing team...

Fold on people, we are doing GREAT!

Way to go guys.

I am hoping it will attract a couple of new members to both teams. That would be great!

Kahnza, you have really kicked it into high gear. I tried to step it up last weekend, but power outages shut down my remote systems all weekend. Can't afford any more APC units right now.

Based upon the latest stats, we should pass DSL Reports on November 18, 2007. Only 6 years, 13 weeks, and 4 days away! They have quite a lead on us in WU's, so we still need to kick it up a bit in order to catch them sooner.

yes, it will take us a while, but we are really pumping up production lately. Look for a jump from myself if I can get this Celey to 1gig.

This is great! I also like the red colur much better than the green one, but hey I think blue would look really good with www.overclockers.com after it! :D

Just wondering.....how fast is the frame time on that 500? I have a 450 k6-2 I gave my dad a while back but he never uses it so I have been thinking about asking for it back. Just wanted to know what to expect.
Have you tried to O/C the 500?

Have you tried to O/C the 500? I dunno, I havn't installed EM on it yet. It's gettin them done within the time limit though. Even with a dedicated CS server running at the same time. It actually is O/C'd to 523 right now. Don't know how but that what it says.

I have my current k6-2 500 mhz running and doing quite well i think completeing a WU in just about 24hrs give or take a couple hours. Will convert to a 700mhz duron o/c'ed in the enxt week or so. Then I'll set my dad's system up to folding as well with this 500mhz ;)

I am adding two new remote systems to my collective, a Tbird 1.4 (to be overclocked to hell) and a 1GHz and belongs to my mother so its not going to be clocked very high if at all but thats still an extra 2.5 TBird Gigs which will bring me up to about 5 gigs with 4 out of five running 24/7!

my attempt at a 3 machine upgrade was a horrible failure, the heatsinks that a local internet based company called microexpress sold me were defective and therefore smashed all 3 cpu's and the tech support guys insists that i am a dumbass and didn't use thermal paste or put it on backwards, i'v been fighting with them for about a week and as fo rthe other two machines, i'm still waiting for my neighbor and friend to get modems so i can add two p3's and a 1.2 Tbird

Hey there fellow folders!

:p Dont get too cocky, everyone. DSLR isnt doing alot of folding since many of the top performers are help the SETI team in a race to 100k against Team AnandTech.

Once that race ends, watch out. There are over 500 people in SETI who plan to return the favor!

Nah...I didnt say anything about competition. Just wanted to let you know why we were low in the stats, nothing more.

I wont take up alot of time here, but I agree with you 100%. I am not big on the team to team competitions. Ive made this clear a number of times in the Yahoo forum as well.

I only popped in because it was brought to my attention people here were bragging about outproducing us and I wanted to explain why.

Way I see it...when all is said and done...we are all on the same team and doing a great service. :)

Feel free to drop by our neck of the woods anytime...we love company and the crazier, the better

Did I say anything about FOLDING FOR TH? Geez....I thought our teams were in good standings with each other. Its hardly recruiting when we welcome you all to drop by and visit in our neck of the woods. I would NEVER attempt to recruit ANYONE from another team.

Feel free to kill my account here. I guess I misjudged OC and thought I would find a friendlier group of people here than this and dont plan to return after I send this message.

Keep on folding.

Pardon me, but this is our forum..... I feel you're overstepping your bounds just slightly, and the fact remains, we ARE outfolding you right now, whether your extra CPU cycles are doing SETI or they're encoding MP3's, it pretty much doesn't matter to us. If I ran around defending the OC.com DC teams at every teams' forum that we get mentioned at I'd be doing a whole lot of typing and not a lot else.

BUT let's not forget who the real winners are in this whole mess... all of us, especially if we find a cure for a terminal disease...

Actually Spectre I firstly want to thank you for stopping by I believe what the members are trying to call to your attention is your URL in your signature, currently only our senior members are allowed to advertise websites in their signature. You are more than welcome to put it into your profile, that we do not mind. If you would just change your signature to reflect that we would be much appreciative. Thanks!

Feel free to pull up a chair and stick around here as long as you like you will find alot of different forum members frequent over here in various capacities, always nice to see new faces so as a moderator, I officially welcome you here. As long as you abide by the few ground rules that have been laid out your time here should be rewarding =)

I'm sorry if I came off a little gruff but that was kind of a knee jerk reaction (and I can definitely be a jerk sometimes). It just seemed to me like you were coming in here looking to get the flame on... this was a dead thread anyway, so let's just let it die again.

Anyways, you have my apologies. Sit, have a beer, let's chew the fat. :)

I didn't realize this either and have the URL to the team site in my sig. I'll remove it.
I posted in their forum and had the team URL listed in my sig over there too. ack. Tried to fix that but it wouldn't change it across the board.

Would is right Ploaf, folding at home and seti at home for our OC.com teams are fine to have in your signature, just personal websites are to be kept to your profile.

I hope that clears things up a bit =)
