I have a friend that works in a plumbing-supply warehouse and he mentioned that they have some copper tubing that is as flexible as vinal tubing but should have the same thermal propreties as normal copper tubing. I haven't had a chance to play with the stuff, but I told him to aquire about 10ft-15ft of it for me to test out.

Have any of you ever seen soething like this? If it's true that it bends easily without kinking up (no idea how that would be achieved) then it could present some interesting possibilities.

I'm currently rebuilding my watercooling system to include the CPU, northbridge, GPU, and video-ram (mainly for noise reduction). I have 2 window fans above my computer... I plan on coiling some copper tubing around the fans instead of using a radiator... that should prove very interesting considering that in the winter it rarely gets higher than 5C outside (and yes, I keep it nearly that cold inside as well... must be the skier in me). Normal copper tubing would work, but it wouldn't be nearly as user-friendly. I'll post some pics when I get it done... now if only I could figure out a good way to watercool my PSU.

yea ive used a lot of this stuff. it is nice. it soders to normal pipe without problems and is realy flexable. funny but i actually used it in a cooling system for my brothers brewery.we made coiled water jackets for the fermentation tanks. im not sure how it works either. its not like putty but it will take a sharp curve without kinking ushually. good stuff, hope it stirs your imagination
