I'm thinking about getting the MC462 but I have a question about the fans. I'm torn between the Delta 80x38 4900 RPM 68 CFM fan and the Sanyo 80x32 4600 RPM 53 CFM fan. The reason is, while both are powered with 4 pin connectors, the Sanyo fan has a 3 pin connector too that is connected to the motherboard for the sole purpose of RPM feedback.

Now, I like my RPM feedback. My motherboard even has a nice optional feature to shut down the system if the fan quits. So here's my question: Would there be a big difference between the two fans? If so, how big? Thanks in advance!

The Delta fan will give you about a 2 to 3c drop in temp. The top system in my sig. is running the MC462A with the Sanyo fan. Temps at full load - running Seti@home are 44c, and that is with a room ambient temp of 85f. The Delta will be loader.
