I just got a 170w pletier off ebay and I was thinking about using it on my old T-bird. Obviosuly it's going to be dissapting well over 250w of heat. Could this be done on air?

it could be, but it depends on the fan/heatisnk.
I doubt your temps will be much better than just straight up good air though.

better get a really good h/f...or have a small a/c unit nearby :P

Probably better on your energy bill to get a tbred B and say screw the peltier....
