well I bought a brand new 1.33 ghz athlon(OEM)........w/glaciator.....I installed it and it didn't boot. When I took off the heatsink I think I may have heard a cracking sound.......I think the core is cracked but I can't see anything on it.....I filed for an RMA # and they called me and talked to me about everything and I said it didn't boot once,which it didn't. They said they'll send me a # but they don't warrant any cpus that have been overclocked. IT HASN'T DAMMITT!!! So they think I overclocked it and it hasn't and it sounds as though I won't get a replacement for it. Any chance of getting a replacement from amd?? What do u guys think?

Might be your AGP card too, try it with another cpu on the same system.

do you get any beeps? if its something other than a cpu problem on my board a get a series of beeps. And what motherboard do you have?

and I haven't had a chance to see if it gets series of beeps. I took my speaker out a couple months ago and its not at the same house as my comp. I will get it in a couple days.
