That was the funniest thing ever, although not very ethical, it is shameful to have to stoop so low to get back at those in this world who already have stooped so low.

My favorite was the way everything was labeled on the laptop, ie, the mouse on the bottom had some tape stuck to it that read LASER, and on the side of the folder, usb, circle plug, and my favorite out of that, on the bottom right corner it reads "This is Real". hahahaha, glad you guys enjoyed it.

It took a great deal of teamwork to pull it off. You all should be proud to have made such an effort to teach a well needed lesson. I just wish there was a way that the scammer could be shutdown for good.
It's people like those, that ruin the internet experience.
Keep Up The Good Work!

That was one of the best threads ever on SA.
If anybody's wondering, the $10 reg fee is well worth it.

The part I loved was the mouse with the "blue tooth". He drew a nice big smile on it and colored all the teeth blue :D.
I think I might have to sign up for that forum looks like it could be a lot of fun.
that was the funniest thing ive ever read. and those pictures. OMG> LOLOL
great story there. I still have faith in ebay though. I've only had 1 minor problem with defective hardware and the guy sent me a replacement asap. My ebay experiences have all been positive, I just get annoyed when people forget to leave me feedback when I'm the seller.
great read for lunch break thanks:D

funny stuff. ebays not that bad. its rather simple, no matter what; NEVER sell to someone outside of the country. not without atleast half the payment in hand before hand. or you choosing the escrow service.
its not hard to not get screwed. paypal is excellent as well. they really protect the buyer, some might say too much. but alas, as long as your the buyer, its the best.

I LOVE to see a scammer get scammed. he thought he was getting a free laptop but spend over $1k on a binder. LOL

Why? I have used Ebay for about 2years now and have made many Worldwide transactions through Ebay and PayPal with no problems what so ever. Now making deals outside of Ebay, thats a different thing. Your insured through Ebay so even if you do get ripped they will refund you(minus about £15 admin charges).
And as for using an escrow service, just insist to use Ebays own. Cant say i've ever had the need to use one yet though.
Now that was great :D I would have loved to have seen his face when he opened the package :p

If you guys check the original thread the videos the UK goons took inside the internet cafe/barber shop are probably still up. They're hilarious.
